A loop without a long approach: we start and finish in Leh, cross the Khardung La into the Nubra valley, ride camels among the dunes of Hunder and stand at Pangong on the third day. Short stages, plenty of altitude — ideal when your holiday does not stretch to two weeks.

Frequently asked questions
Are two days of acclimatisation enough?
Leh already sits at 3,500 m. We stay two nights in the valley before the first pass — that is enough for most people.
How cold does it get at Pangong?
Around freezing at night, 15–20 °C during the day. The accommodation at the lake is a permanent camp with blankets and a stove.
